Niten Ichi Ryu

Niten Ichi Ryu daisho, was one of my recent Koryu projects,
I got one  Tozando Daisho, but industrial production is not something that Koryu practitioners prefer
that's why I decided to slightly improve the look and quality
results can be seen in photos

here you could see how industrial bokken  do not have perfect sory (curvature)
the top  bokken  is my work  and
bottom is Tozando work

Katori Shinto Ryu

I started making Koryu Bokken, at the request of Holland guy who practice Katori Shinto Ryu, by his words, one of the oldest schools of Kenjutsu in Japan

first Sugino Sensei Dojo
this daisho was make from European oak,
Daisho was treated with red oil, until it reached the reddish color of wood, similar to Japanese red oak

next is Otake Sensei Dojo
also European oak but oiled with regular oil,
that would retain the natural color
